The Voyages of the 'Morning'
In 1904 the 'Morning' was sent to the Antarctic to relieve Scott's ship
the 'Discovery'. Gerald Doorly was then one of the junior officers on the
'Morning' but it was not until 1915 that he wrote about his experiences
and of his impressions of Scott and of the other members of that early British
National Antarctic Expedition. This is a very lively and often amusing account.
